We all want to be game-ready by the beginning of the season. So we must practice that same way. The next time you are able to take ground balls or fly balls and hit, try to organize your practice like this....

  • Do some type of running or sprinting for 5 minutes
  • Grab your glove and field ground balls or fly balls for 10 minutes and move on to hitting a ball
  • Take 15 swings, no more than that, whether it is batting practice,¬† or in a softtoss or batting tee station.
