Bob Olah Does NOT Believe in Batting Practice

There is a time during the season where you should back off a little on taking batting practice, and then there is a time where you take NO batting practice, whether it is for a couple of days or a whole week off.

Most kids today play baseball for two or three teams, each with their own practice days and game days. The last thing you need is to swing more.

In mid-June, I would cut my total batting practice down to half the amount. Say you were swinging at 100 balls a week on your own, cut it . . .
